America is a bad ass strong woman and I love her. if you feel like it you can skip over it it is not vivid description but personally I don’t really like focusing on scenes that go there tho. There was one minor scene in the last book but it is not bad and they do not have sex. The book series overall only has kissing and making out. it was the first romance novel I ever read!! I have reread and reread it 1 million times after I finish the series 2 days later I picked it up and reread it and anybody who says that it is a bad book well let’s just say I would very very much disagree. This is literally my favorite book series on planet earth. I feel this book is OK for 12+ Thanks for listening! They are more great role models throughout the book. America is also a great role model but in this book in the series there are a few parts where she is not a great role model.

I feel a lot of the characters are great role models in The One! One of the mean girls stop being mean and start being nice. There is a part where rebels break in and attack everyone, and kill (!SPOILER ALERT!) on of the girls in the selection. There is a part where one girl is found with Maxon half nude kissing him “a LOT.” Then there is just small parts with kisses and stuff. There is another part where America asks Marley (her BFF) if her and her boyfriend have “done the thing yet” Marley reply’s “yes, the first time it felt weird and the second time it was mush better” also Marley says her and her boyfriend share a bed. They end up sleeping together and Maxon wakes her up tickling her. Ok so there are a lot of kisses described as “intense and passionate” there is also a part where Maxon and America are laying on America’s bed and Maxon is in his underwear and America is in her slip under her dress. I loved reading this series! There were a few inappropriate and intense moment though so I’ll break it down for you!
